Energy, exergy, economic, exergoenvironmental, and environmental analyses of a multigeneration system to produce electricity, cooling, potable water, hydrogen and sodium-hypochlorite

One of the necessities human beings in this century is potable water supply. This supply has more environmental benefits if supplied by renewable energy resources. In paper, a combination combined cooling and power system (Goswami cycle), with reverse osmosis sodium hypochlorite plant powered geothermal resources proposed. The products are electrical energy, water, hydrogen salt. To investigate all aspects, exergy, economic, exergoenvironmental, analyses performed. analysis, social costs air pollution considered. It means that for same amount produced non-renewable resource generation systems, gases their considering cost quantified. regard, four scenarios defined. Results show multi-generation produces 1.751 GJ/year 1.04 18,106.8 m3/year 7.396 Ton/year hydrogen, 3.838 salt throughout year. exergy efficiencies equal to 12.25%, 19.6%. payback period time 2.7 years.
